The FCA group has announced in a statement the launch of a Renegade hybrid rechargeable early 2020. This model will be assembled in the Italian factory Melfi, alongside the Renegade thermal and Fiat 500X .

Pre-production vehicles will be manufactured next year. Maybe we can discover the model before its official launch on spy photos. However, this will only be of limited interest since the Renegade Plug-in Hybrid should be almost similar to an aesthetically pleasing thermal model.
The Italo-American group does not give for the time any technical characteristic. He prefers to recall that the launch of the Renegade PHEV is part of a vast electrification plan initiated on the other side of the Atlantic with the Chrysler Pacifica PHEV and the Ram 1500 light hybrid.
By 2022, FCA will significantly expand its offering of electrified vehicles to 30 vehicles. Hybrids of all kinds, but also 100% electric vehicles. One of the key models of this offensive will be the Maserati Alfieri , which will take over the GranTurismo.
