Payment of gas without cash

Jaguar has partnered with Shell to develop an innovative cashless cash payment system. Instead of slipping a card at the pump or waiting for a service crew, owners simply install the Shell application. Drivers can now drive up to any gas station and use the vehicle’s touchscreen to select how much fuel they need.

Then they can pay through PayPal or Apple Pay. A Android pay-based system arrives later this year. At present, the payment of gas in cars has started in the UK, but is expected to be published globally before 2018.

For recording, an electronic receipt will be displayed on the touch screen. In addition, a copy will be sent to the driver’s email address. Indeed, the Shell application offers a new way to make refueling more convenient.

The base price for the Jaguar XE starts at $ 35,725. Finally, a fee of $ 925 will be charged. On the other hand, the Jaguar XE S series sells for $ 52,275.

According to Digital Trends, the all-new Jaguar XE S could help the British company get a larger piece of the luxury compact sedan segment. It is currently dominated by the BMW M3 and the Mercedes-Benz C-Class. Well, it seems that their reign will not last.
