This engine will be slightly more powerful (310 horsepower) than the current one. New Honda Pilot will have front wheels or optionally all-four-wheels-drive system. Engine will be mated with six-speed automatic gearbox or CVT transmission. Fuel economy is improved with improvement of engine and by using lightweight materials.

Exterior design will be one of the main differences between new Honda Pilot and previous models. New curves were announced, so previous boxy look will be partly dropped. Anyway, 2016 Pilot will keep well-known look, but with new rounder shape it will be more attractive. Also, interior will suffer some changes. Comfort and enjoy of the ride will be boosted with new upholstery, materials used for equipping the cabin and infotainment features. Space in the cabin will be enlarged, so passengers will have more leg and head-room. Also, new materials will be used for architecture, which will make 2016 Honda Pilot lose some weight comparing to previous vehicles. All these changes could make new Pilot one of the best SUV in the class.
